Job Overview

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Hourly Rate: $20 - $22

The role of the Machine Operator is crucial in ensuring the seamless production of our goods. This position requires the operator to efficiently and safely execute tasks that contribute to the manufacturing process. The operator will be responsible for the setup and operation of a Hydraulic Press, similar to a Break Press. A solid understanding of industrial safety practices and the mechanical fundamentals of equipment operation is essential. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and basic quality control measures is expected, along with maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety guidelines.
  • Setup machinery for production runs.
  • Operate the Hydraulic Press and perform tasks as directed by supervisors or experienced staff.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production cycle and report any compliance issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and a reliable attendance record.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a drug test.
  • Background check clearance.
  • E-Verify eligibility.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to understand and comply with safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills applicable in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator.
  • Experience in machine setup.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Post-training, employees must demonstrate understanding of safety regulations through written or verbal assessments.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow posted safety signage within the facility.
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and equipment manuals for safe operation.
