We are currently seeking a CDL Class A Driver with a strong background in transporting heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will work closely with rigging teams to facilitate the movement of equipment. This role may involve occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload heavy equipment.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured for transport.
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and trailers.
  • Report any mechanical or safety concerns regarding vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspect machinery prior to transport.
  • Maintain accurate log books and adhere to DOT regulations.
  • Operate various non-CDL equipment as needed.
  • Provide clear directions to crane operators during loading and unloading processes.
  • Coordinate equipment movements using visual signals and communication tools.
  • Identify and respond to hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Maintain regular attendance and fulfill additional duties as required.

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in diverse environments, including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites, often exposing the individual to dust, grease, and varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to navigate confined spaces and elevated positions safely, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary. Physical demands include lifting up to fifty pounds and maintaining stamina for prolonged periods.
