Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Assist in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children.
  • Childcare and Supervision: Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, attendance, and any notable incidents.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certification, to ensure a safe environment for children.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with documented experience working with young children in a formal or informal setting.
  • Skills and Qualities: Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, emotional maturity and stability, and physical stamina to manage the needs of children.
  • Certifications and Training: Possess or be willing to obtain certification in Pediatric First Aid and Personal Safety, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working 30 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of $16.00. Benefits include dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
