Control System Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise in automation systems with consulting skills. As a Control System Engineer, you will work closely with our project team to plan and implement projects, including brownfield system modernization. Your responsibilities will include defining advanced applications and modernization solutions, leading engineering activities on multiple projects, and evaluating customer specifications for scope definition and generation of work statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop various design documentation, including system architecture and functional design specifications.
  • Produce bill of materials and coordinate material ordering and delivery with project managers and subcontractors.
  • Develop PLC and HMI/SCADA applications.
  • Perform customer FAT and SAT.
  • Provide technical support to the project pursuit team.
  • Standardize application software and develop and improve testing procedures.
  • Train customers in systems operations and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited University or College.
  • Minimum + years' experience in designing and implementing control system solutions.
  • Experience with on-site implementation, testing, and commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum + years of experience in designing and implementing PLC control system solutions.
  • Experience with PLCs (GE Fanuc experience strongly preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Industrial IoT and an interest in manufacturing automation.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally and across businesses.
