Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Patient Access Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, performing registration and pre-admission functions, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring accurate and complete demographic information.
- Obtain insurance authorizations and verify patient coverage and eligibility.
- Perform cash reconciliation and secure payment entry, adhering to financial and cash control policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience, preferably in a registration or scheduling role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary for this position is between $24,000 and $35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
