About Our Hospital:
Vet Doc Hospitals is a full-service small animal general practice and urgent care hospital offering high-quality medicine, surgery, and service to the community. Our team treats dogs, cats, and exotic species, such as small mammals, reptiles, and birds. Our hospital is supported by a skilled, intelligent, and hard-working team. Our doctors are supported by individual Veterinary Assistants, a 1:1 Registered Veterinary Technicians ratio, and expert technicians that run anesthesia during all surgical procedures.
Our Capabilities:
We have a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Several of our veterinarians are trained to use endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery equipment, routinely performing lap spays, gastrostomies, and liver biopsies. We would support any candidates interested in becoming proficient with endoscopy or laparoscopy. We would also support any candidates that have an interest in expanding their exotic skillset as we are a hospital who treats and hospitalizes exotics.
Our Partnerships:
We work closely with a board-certified cardiologist and an ultrasound specialist to perform echocardiograms and ultrasounds as needed, and a board-certified surgeon comes in multiple times per month to perform orthopedic procedures. We are a paperless hospital and use a leading electronic medical records system.
Requirements:
- All experience levels considered
- Indiana Veterinary License - active and in good standing
