This role serves as a representative of Foundation Communities and is pivotal in maintaining property operations during assigned shifts.
Work Schedule: The work schedule is flexible based on the availability of the receptionist, with a minimum requirement of one 8-hour shift weekly. The role requires adaptability to assist at multiple locations, with evening shifts typically running from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and receptionist duties, including answering phone calls, addressing property inquiries, and managing email correspondence.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to the resident community.
- Communicate community rules and lease agreements to residents effectively.
- Address resident concerns and emergencies as they arise.
- Respond to urgent situations and liaise with appropriate authorities when necessary.
- Document incidents and prepare shift reports as required.
- Oversee the sign-in/sign-out process and verify guest identification.
- Submit maintenance requests for unit repairs and other needs.
- Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activities.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident information and records.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable transportation in good working condition.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain composure.
- Proven ability to interact positively with residents, staff, volunteers, and supervisors.
- Positive attitude, integrity, and trustworthiness.
- Proficient in using computers and mobile devices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish, Arabic, or Pashto are advantageous.
Working Environment:
This role may involve exposure to potentially infectious materials, and training along with personal protective equipment will be provided for any necessary clean-up tasks.
Physical Demands:
The position requires prolonged periods of sitting while using a computer, the ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs daily, and the capacity to lift items weighing up to approximately 30 pounds.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $17.51.
