Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with menu and prices to ensure accurate charges to each customer.
- Operate a computer-based register during meal service periods, handling cash and counting money in a high-volume situation.
- Verify cash drawer amounts before and after meal periods to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Demonstrate customer service skills and perform customer recovery, resolving issues at the point of service.
- Follow established standards for food safety and sanitation, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements:
- 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or as a cashier in a high-volume setting.
- FHC - Food Handlers Certificate (30 days required).
- Ability to handle cash in a high-volume environment, with basic math and written language skills in English.
- Computer skills preferred, with good communication and organizational skills to exercise independent judgment.
