The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in airport planning, design, and construction management across various sectors, including public, private, municipal, state, and federal entities. Responsibilities may encompass research, data analysis, design computations, and construction oversight. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple transportation projects concurrently, collaborating effectively with team members and clients to address technical challenges.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project designs, engineering reports, plan drawings, technical specifications, and other deliverables to ensure feasibility and quality.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, promptly notifying project managers of any potential issues.
  • Draft clear and concise written communications and actively participate in meetings with clients and team members.
  • Present design initiatives as necessary for public engagement and client interaction.
  • Perform research and contribute to the technical sections of proposals to support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Possession of an Alaska Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain one within a year.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in cold regions preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with GIS is advantageous.
  • Able to lead teams and manage contracts across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation: Salary will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
