Job Summary

The Business Analyst Financial Planning role is a critical position that works closely with the Director of Financial Planning, the Strata Data Team, and Hospital Finance Leads to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of enterprise and service line results. This individual will be responsible for preparing and analyzing product line profitability information as requested by the Senior Executive Team and serving in a support role as needed for various process improvement groups throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate meaningful information with executive summaries that provide insight into service line and system-wide financial performance.
  • Understand general operational functions and financial functions, including reimbursement, payment, cost, and process functionality.
  • Maintain expertise in decision support systems to ensure accurate and comparative information is available in reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain knowledge of subsystems that interface to the Strata system to ensure information is timely and accurate.
  • Create and distribute reports through Strata.
  • Perform special projects for the CFO executive team and Financial Planning department as directed.

Requirements

  • 3 Years Direct Position Experience Required.
  • 5 Years Information Technology - Systems Analysis And Accounting/Finance - Accounting and Financial Reporting In Healthcare - Acute Care Preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration Or Finance Required Or Equivalent Experience Required And Master's Degree Preferred.

Monday-Friday (schedule to be determined)
