Job Description

This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Culinary Arts and Hospitality department and reports to the Department Chair. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and hospitality, with experience in teaching and curriculum development.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach one or more culinary arts courses, developing appropriate course syllabi and working with students as needed.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback to students.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an associate's degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the culinary arts and hospitality industry, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

Benefits:

  • Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,700 per 3-hour course for an Associate's Degree, $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
  • Worker's compensation and limited part-time retirement plan.

Positions will remain open until filled. Teaching positions will be required to submit official transcripts upon an offer of employment.
