Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Manufacturing Planning Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. As a key member of our production planning and control team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of production and material support on multiple programs or one large, complex program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production planning and control processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and identify areas for process improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and suppliers, to negotiate and resolve issues
  • Assist in detailed proposal analysis and development of bidding and estimating strategies
  • Identify and mitigate cost and schedule risks to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert in all aspects of planning and control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Highly competitive salary range: $USD 120,000 - $USD 180,000 per year
