About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Addiction Recovery Specialist to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers.

As an Addiction Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals struggling with Opioid Use Disorder regain control of their lives.

Job Summary:

New Season operates a network of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers that provide comprehensive care for individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction.

  • You will work closely with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
  • Document patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
  • Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within the required timeframe.
  • Identify any clinical/case management needs and work to address those needs.
  • Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct one-on-one patient contact through individual or group counseling.
  • Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation as required.
  • Report patient grievances as required.
  • Educate patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery.
  • Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the substance abuse field is not required but preferred.
  • A Master's degree in a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is required.
