Job Overview

Coeadapt Inc. is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Google Cloud Solutions Engineer. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development, deployment, and management of applications and services on the Google Cloud Platform. A strong technical background and expertise in Google Cloud technologies are essential, along with substantial experience in coding, application architecture, and large-scale deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and sustain Google Cloud solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Create and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud applications using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow developers, architects, and project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform code evaluations, troubleshoot intricate issues, and enhance code quality, performance, and reliability.
  • Establish and manage automated build, testing, and deployment workflows employing DevOps practices.
  • Oversee and refine the performance and cost-efficiency of Google Cloud applications and services.
  • Remain informed about the latest advancements in Google Cloud technologies and best practices, applying them to address business challenges.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to junior developers and engineers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in developing, deploying, and managing Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Experience in constructing workflows in Vertex AI and overseeing big data initiatives.
  • Preferred: GCP architect certification.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, architecture, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, and Cloud Functions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies such as Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Google Cloud Platform certification(s) such as Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer is advantageous.
