As a Security Dispatch Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients in times of need. Your primary responsibility will involve responding to activated alarms and dispatching appropriate emergency services, such as police, fire, or medical personnel.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. You will utilize computer systems extensively to monitor alarm signals, access client information, and communicate with emergency responders.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor alarm signals and determine the nature of each incident.
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services based on alarm type and location.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, emergency responders, and internal personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and dispatches.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with dispatch software.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Bi-lingual skills and customer service experience are a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
