Core Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with federal leads to oversee forensic teams during on-site operations, ensuring effective evidence collection.
2. Provide expert guidance on digital evidence and forensic methodologies to relevant personnel.
3. Develop comprehensive reports, conduct peer reviews, and ensure quality assurance for junior analysts.
4. Mentor team members in forensic analysis, data collection, and reporting processes.
5. Lead and coordinate preliminary investigations, including the examination and analysis of digital evidence.
6. Summarize analytic findings into detailed reports for stakeholders, explaining methodologies and protocols.
7. Document and track incident response activities, providing updates to leadership throughout engagements.
8. Analyze and evaluate suspected malicious code to identify threats.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in cyber forensic investigations using industry-standard tools.
- Proficient in creating forensically sound evidence duplicates and writing investigative reports.
- Familiarity with the analysis of cyber attacks and evidence handling procedures.
- Strong understanding of system and application security vulnerabilities.
- Willingness to travel domestically on short notice and collaborate across locations.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, SIFT, and others.
- Proficient in conducting all-source research and analysis.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Certifications:
- Desired certifications include GCFA, GCFE, EnCE, CCE, CFCE, CISSP.
