We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Care Coordinator to join our team at Tenet Massachusetts. As an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, we provide high-quality care to our patients and strive to be leaders in state-of-the-art treatments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and Coordinate Stroke Certification Process: Develop and review protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work with Emergency Department, ED Director, EMS, hospital department directors, and staff to ensure timely and effective care for stroke patients.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Track trends and share results with Neurologists, ED physicians, Radiology, Laboratory, and ED to determine causes for variance.
  • Promote Education and Community Outreach: Provide education related to stroke and cardiac conditions to identified units and other hospital personnel, and support community outreach/educational programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 5 years' clinical experience, including telemetry.
  • Familiarity with neuroscience patient population and stroke evidenced-based medicine requirements.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and be self-directed.
