HVAC Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering exceptional results on a variety of projects, including higher education, government, healthcare, industrial, and commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver projects to meet client expectations and company standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, including workload forecasting and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with project team leads to review project proposals and contracts
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Affect and implement programs to improve the quality of our service, products, and systems to meet the client's requirements and expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company's competitive position
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of MEP/HVAC and construction project management experience
  • Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff
  • Communication and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Project budgeting skills
  • Able to promptly resolve team management problems
  • Organized with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
  • Time management skills; able to complete commitments in an accurate and timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MEP experience
  • HVAC experience
  • Engineering license preferred
  • PE preferred
