Aledade is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Internal Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our physicians to deliver exceptional medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in treating patients, evaluating their medical history, and performing physical examinations.
- Provide post-surgical care and follow-up, as well as coordinate patient care, including testing and preparation for procedures.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and imaging examinations.
- Offer patient education, counseling, and instruction on preventive care and health management.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to facilitate referrals to other healthcare facilities or resources.
- Administer and order medication as requested by supervising physicians.
- Initiate emergency measures and perform chart reviews as needed.
- Provide in-service training and daily consultation to clinical staff.
- Counsel patients on preventive care and share on-call responsibilities with supervising physicians.
- Answer patient calls and perform other tasks delegated by supervising physicians.
- Hold a current license in good standing and maintain certification in accordance with Department of Regulations.
- Be able to perform healthcare tasks efficiently and effectively, prioritizing patient health and welfare.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- possess good diagnostic capabilities and a strong understanding of internal medicine.
- Graduate of an approved program or its equivalent.
- Meet the standards set by the Board of Medicine.
- Experience in internal medicine is preferred but not required.
