Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

At Aledade, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our internal medicine practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the supervising Physician in treating patients, evaluating their condition, and developing treatment plans.
- Provide post-surgical wound care and follow-up, as well as coordinate patient care, including testing and preparation for procedures.
- Record and ensure the availability and completeness of documentation, reports, and imaging examinations.
- Provide patient education, counseling, and instruction on preventive care and health management.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare facilities, agencies, or resources, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Dictate progress notes, history, and physical, and discharge summaries, as well as administer and/or order medication upon request of the supervising Physician.
- Initiate emergency measures as required, perform chart reviews, and provide in-service and daily consultation to clinical staff.
- Initiate and monitor patients for special tests, counsel patients on preventive care, and share on-call responsibilities with the supervising Physician.
- Answer patient calls, adhere to office policies and procedures, and perform other specific tasks delegated by the supervising Physician.
- Hold a current license in good standing and maintain certification in accordance with Department of Regulations.
- Able to perform healthcare tasks efficiently and effectively, consistent with patient health and welfare.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, and good diagnostic capabilities.
- Graduate of an approved program or its equivalent, meets the standards set by the Board of Medicine, and experience in Internal Medicine preferred but not required.
