Pulmonology Care Specialist

Job Summary
The Pulmonology Care Specialist will be part of a dynamic team in a culture of learning and advancement, utilizing scientific values, therapies, and techniques to enhance patient care and outcomes. As a Respiratory Therapist, the successful candidate will work closely with the attending physician and care team to administer high-quality care, following established procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer oxygen and aerosol therapy, ensuring precision and accuracy in treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective respiratory care strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in respiratory care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
- Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care.
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Less than one year of experience in respiratory care.
