Job SummaryThe Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for implementing standards of care for speech-language pathology services offered by Capitol Home Health. This role requires a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure by the State of Texas, and ASHA certification.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized speech-language pathology plans for patients
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure as a speech-language pathologist by the State of Texas
- ASHA certification
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology, with home health experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CPR certification
- Access to reliable transportation
