Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for implementing standards of care for speech-language pathology services offered by Capitol Home Health. This role requires a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure by the State of Texas, and ASHA certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language pathology plans for patients
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment sessions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensure as a speech-language pathologist by the State of Texas
  • ASHA certification
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology, with home health experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR certification
  • Access to reliable transportation
