Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for implementing standards of care for speech-language pathology services offered by Capitol Home Health. This includes assessing patients' communication needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patients' communication skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a speech-language pathologist in the State of Texas
  • ASHA certification
  • Minimum of one year's clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience in Home Health preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and organization skills
  • Current CPR certification
