Job Summary

As a PICC Nurse at CHI St. Vincent North, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by inserting and managing PICC lines. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive the best possible outcomes for their vascular access needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate vascular access for patients, ensuring proper care and outcomes.
  • Insert and manage PICC lines, providing care and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients, families, and staff on PICC line care and infection prevention.
  • Document patient care thoroughly, ensuring compliance with policy and reporting to health providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, supporting a team-based approach to enhancing care.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program college or university.
  • 2 years of professional experience in inpatient acute care or outpatient infusion therapy.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing or compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
