Medical Nurse Specialist

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at CHI St. Vincent North. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients admitted to our unit, with a focus on specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, and charting with timely documentation.
- Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals, including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
- Participate in our clinical ladder program to advance your career and receive additional compensation.
- Registered Nurse License, in good standing (State of Arkansas, or compact state, required prior to hire).
- 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program).
- Previous med surg experience is preferred, but not required.
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
