Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and manage the current Food Safety Quality Assurance program and broaden the scope of our existing protocols to achieve a verifiable level of true world-class food safety and industry-leading quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement food safety and quality control protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless execution of quality assurance initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures, including training programs, to ensure employee understanding and adherence.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain records of quality control activities, including training, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement product recall procedures to ensure timely and effective response to quality issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in food safety and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as food science, biology, or chemistry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety and quality control, preferably in a management role.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective quality control programs.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and FSMA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
