Job Summary:

This Radiologic Imaging Assistant position is responsible for assisting imaging technologists, nurses, and radiologists with daily activities in the department.

The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in a Radiology Technology program and possess excellent communication and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients and assist with their care as needed
  • Navigate computer systems to obtain necessary information
  • Observe patients to ensure safety and comfort
  • Transport supplies, equipment, and instruments
  • Maintain exam room supplies and handle oxygen tanks

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Radiology Technology program
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

This role requires heavy work, exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
