At Reliable Heating & Air, we're seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing crew, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential plumbing mechanisms while providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages.
  • Install, maintain, and repair residential and some commercial plumbing systems.
  • Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites.
  • Stay up-to-date with current safety regulations and requirements for plumbing systems.
  • Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
  • Establish and foster client relationships through strong communication and customer service.
  • Document all installed equipment upon arrival, including make, model, serial number, and necessary test measurements.
  • Maintain good working order of Company vehicle and proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.
  • Understand Company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoices at job site.
  • Inform customers of potential opportunities for additional business.
  • Participate in Company-provided training and comply with all code regulations.
  • Adhere to all Company safety rules.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a residential Service Plumber.
  • Valid Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumbing License required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Results driven in a high-energy environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Physical Activities & Requirements:
  • Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, reaching (including overhead), climbing ladders/stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Environment: Work in varying temperatures, including non-climate-controlled areas occasionally with extreme temperatures.
  • Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
  • Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
  • Schedule: Must be available to work nights and weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
  • Visual Abilities: Must be able to correctly differentiate between colors.
  • Other: Must be proficient in the use of smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
