Overview:

Efficiently serve meals in a courteous manner, adhering to the service standards and protocols of Country View Golf Club as outlined in the training manual. Comply with all safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete necessary safety training and certifications. Ensure that personal appearance and uniform are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; safeguard company assets. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster and maintain positive working relationships; collaborate with the team to achieve common objectives; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up coffee breaks, carts, and stations with the appropriate food and beverages as specified in the Banquet Event Order.
- Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables/carts, and cordial carts.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed. Address and attempt to fulfill any special arrangements for banquet events.
- For plated events, serve and remove tableware in accordance with Country View standards.
- Replenish buffet items to maintain consistency and freshness in presentation. Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable for guests.
- Oversee and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
- Bus tables by removing and sorting tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull lighter objects.
- State-required alcohol seller/server certification and food handling certification.
- Requires the ability to frequently lift/move up to 30 lbs.
