Wireless Deployment Engineer for Smart Spaces

The Cisco Spaces team is seeking a Technical Deployment Engineer to drive adoption and deployment support for partners and product management around the high AP density deployment (WiFi 7) for our industry-leading wireless portfolio launch.

You will work with customers and internal teams to bridge the gap between traditional network deployment and Smart Spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the field-facing domain expert on Wireless and how they empower Smart Spaces.
  • Responsible for all technical content creation and review, including technical guides and deployment methodologies.
  • Collaborating with Cisco CX teams to raise technical awareness of our products.
  • Training partners, customers, and executives.
  • Measuring and reporting on the value of the offer and working with product management to prepare a roadmap.
  • Driving thought leadership by articulating our positioning and strategy compared to competitors.
  • Working with ecosystem partners to validate interoperability and solution development.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise (with an engineering background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field).
  • 5-7 years of experience with wireless and/or IoT technologies.
  • Field experience supporting deployment or working with deployment partners.
  • Experience in technical product support and product testing preferred.
  • Passion for IoT, networking, wireless, cloud, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong user empathy and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong sense of product quality.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
