Position Overview:
This role is integral to the administration and execution of the Wellness Education program within a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive wellness education initiative tailored for inmates, including the facilitation of relevant classroom activities.
  • Oversee inmate participation in organized recreational activities, ensuring appropriate supervision and security measures are in place.
  • Prepare corrective consultations and disciplinary documentation as necessary, adhering to departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate with medical and security personnel to create wellness programs that support the social rehabilitation of inmates.
  • Assess inmate engagement in wellness and recreational activities, translating findings into actionable goals and performance metrics aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Manage the inventory of wellness education resources, conducting regular audits to ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Identify and plan competitive wellness activities for inmates during designated free time, fostering engagement and participation.
  • Coordinate special events, including the scheduling of external groups for recreational and cultural programming.
