We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team at Rose Medical Center. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various medical surgical telemetry units, providing high-quality patient care and utilizing your specialized skills and unit-specific competencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Utilize your specialized skills and unit-specific competencies to provide care in various medical surgical telemetry units.
- Oversee and direct the care of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
- Rotate to other areas other than your normally assigned service area/s, and perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Additional certifications required based on specialty unit (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), STABLE, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)).
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree desirable.
- Two years' nursing experience minimum with specialty in acute care required. Experience requirements are specific to positions and departments as appropriate.
