Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Front End Mechanic will oversee and maintain repairs and preventative maintenance for tomato plant equipment. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge and skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Front End and other Plant equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure the integrity and proper operation of all Unloading, Sorting, Flume Systems, Add Back Systems, Finishing, Waste Separation/Conveying, Re-man and Citric Acid Equipment.
• Perform routine "walk-throughs" to ensure the proper operation of all Front End and associated equipment.
• Make system add-back and product finisher screen changes under the direction of management.
• Ensure conformance to all Plant standard operating procedures.

• Must possess sound reasoning ability, mechanical knowledge, and skills.
• Must possess the desire and ability to learn.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work as both part of a team and independently.
• Must be able to perform physical activity that requires use of your arms, hands, legs, whole body, such as climbing stairs, walking on uneven surfaces, crouching, bending, lifting, and pushing.
• Must exhibit regular attendance and punctuality.
• Should be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must have basic computer skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience preferred.

• Exposure to hot, wet, humid, dry, or windy conditions caused by the weather.
• Work in high-traffic areas; moving bins, pallets with empty drums.
• Exposure to high levels of noise.
