Job Overview

The Addison of Lowrie Place is seeking a skilled and compassionate MEDICATION CARE COORDINATOR to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the self-administration of medications for residents in accordance with federal and state regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
  • Count and verify all narcotics before accepting medication keys, reporting any discrepancies to a supervisor.
  • Order necessary medications and treatments from approved pharmacies or notify responsible parties when supplies are low.
  • Inspect medication storage areas regularly to ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and remove expired medications.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Medication Technician (dependent on state regulations).
  • Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience.
