Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in the Cardiology Group at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Hospital. As a critical care cardiology APP, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the healthcare of critical care cardiology patients in the inpatient setting. This is a full-time dedicated night opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to patients and families.
• Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges for cardiology patients.
• Actively participate in the daily medical management of patients.
• Become thoroughly competent in all aspects of stress testing.
• Document, maintain, and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information in our EMR system (EPIC).
Qualifications
• Required Minimum Education: Board Certified/Board Eligible Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
• Required Minimum Experience: Previous APP Critical Care Cardiology experience preferred.
