About the Role

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Coordinator in the Operating Room. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personalized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative support.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Ensuring timely communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth transitions and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current state RN license
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (preferred)
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in an acute care setting
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
