ManTech is looking for a dedicated, career-focused Senior IT Systems Administrator to become part of our team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of IT systems while overseeing IT system infrastructure and related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Oversee daily operations and configuration of IT systems.
  • Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems effectively.
  • Provide both Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Support IT systems through daily operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Facilitate the escalation and communication of status updates to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Enhance system operations and resource utilization, conducting system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Analyze and resolve intricate issues related to server hardware, applications, and software integration.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components, while implementing enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited institution. Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in LINUX.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • IAT Level I certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work involving speaking, standing, talking, walking, working with computers, handling data, and managing numbers and figures. Ability to handle stress and work under pressure, proficiency in MS Office and PC operations, analytical thinking, leadership, listening skills, multitasking, negotiation skills, and effective oral and written communication.
