Position Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Manager of Fulfillment Center Operations who possesses a proven track record in scaling high-performing teams. This role is crucial in fulfilling our commitment to merchants: to help them stress less and grow more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish operational protocols for tasks such as the verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling, and maintaining up-to-date warehouse inventory.
  • Ensure the warehouse and equipment are in optimal physical condition.
  • Submit work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment replacements to the relevant personnel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities with customer service and sales functions.
  • Oversee the safe operation of the warehouse, adhering to company standards for sanitation, maintenance, security, and housekeeping.
  • Effectively manage the operational budget and profit & loss statements.
  • Guarantee operational excellence across all warehouse areas, equipment, and systems.
  • Work with others to maintain an efficient layout of the warehouse and product placement.
  • Monitor and ensure that facility key performance indicators (KPIs) are met promptly and cost-effectively to drive profitability and productivity.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping for direct reports and reporting teams.
  • Lead cultural transformation within facilities as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Participate actively in the recruitment, hiring, and training of supervisory and hourly staff; plan, assign, and direct work; and evaluate performance to foster a strong company culture.
  • Address complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Oversee warehouse sanitation in the assigned department, with adequate training provided to identify and rectify sanitation failures.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Operations, Fulfillment Center Operations, or Distribution Center Operations is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and training, is required.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with labor management systems and productivity initiatives is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a distinguishing asset.
  • Proficiency in enterprise technology systems, including Advanced Excel, Outlook/Gmail, Project Management Software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Process Workflow creation, is necessary.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to respond to inquiries from various stakeholders are essential.
  • Ability to tackle practical problems and manage diverse variables in situations with limited standardization is crucial.
  • Experience leading teams of 40+ employees and managing performance at all levels is required.
