About the Role

The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our dental team, you will work closely with residents and staff dentists to deliver high-quality dental hygiene services and preventive education to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings and preventive care
  • Collaborate with residents and staff dentists to develop treatment plans and educate patients on oral health
  • Work with patients to promote good oral hygiene practices and prevent oral health issues
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene

Requirements

  • Graduate of a US or Canadian dental hygiene program with Associate or Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene
  • CPR certification and Vermont licensure required
  • Local Anesthesia certification preferred
  • Vermont State Dental Assistant Registration and CDA certificate, CPR certificate, Dental Assisting National Board Certificate, CPR certificate
