Job Title: Behavior Technician

Eisenhower Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with their behavior protocols, data collection, and community access goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist rehab staff in implementing behavior protocols developed by the BCBA.
  • Conduct novel data collection, making observations and documenting client behaviors and trends.
  • Provide relevant corrective reinforcement and praise for both clients and staff as appropriate.
  • Model appropriate, professional, and compassionate behavior for both staff and clients.
  • Assist in increasing staff engagement with clients, including ensuring client engagement schedules are followed and providing feedback and praise when necessary.
  • Teach and model staff when dealing with difficult clients.
  • Assist in community access goals and interact directly with clients in the community when they are resistant or underperforming.
  • Respond to crisis situations during shifts and manage and assess staff interventions.
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including Residential Unit Coordinators, Residential Supervisors, Program Coordinators, and clinicians.
  • Work with clients on community transportation goals and help them develop their own social networks in the community.
  • Input Incident Reports for units and handle client incentives.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Valid Michigan driver's license.
  • Previous experience as a Behavior Tech (preferred).
  • High attention to detail and experience with data collection, entry, and analysis.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to Eisenhower Center's mission statement.
Schedule:
  • 2:00pm-10:00pm.
  • Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs schedule.
