Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will report to the Head Athletic Trainer and the Senior Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing medical coverage for athletic teams.
  • Overseeing the athletic training clinic.
  • Handling various administrative tasks.
  • Delivering athletic training services to student-athletes.
  • Collaborating closely with coaching staff and assigned teams.
  • Supervising the Athletic Training Clinic during operational hours.
  • Maintaining an organized appointment schedule for evaluations and treatments.
  • Managing medical record documentation.
  • Assisting in the upkeep of pre-participation paperwork and physical examinations.
  • Conducting concussion baseline testing.
  • Monitoring inventory of supplies.
  • Coordinating the schedule for athletic training coverage during practices and events.

Qualifications Required

A bachelor's degree is essential. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to assess situations and devise solutions, and be willing to travel and work flexible hours. A commitment to fostering positive relationships both internally and externally is crucial.


Preferred Qualifications

A master's degree, experience as a student-athlete, and strength and conditioning certification are advantageous but not mandatory.
