Nurse Clinical Support Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinical Support Lead to join our team at Albany Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to assume a leadership role in providing expert consultation to patient care services staff in clinical patient care situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist staff in developing clinical skills and problem-solving in complex patient care situations.
- Teach and support staff to initiate access and manage intravascular therapy.
- Provide direct care in selected complex patient care situations.
- Negotiate effectively to reach consensual decisions with staff and managers.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of three years recent acute care clinical experience in specific patient populations served. You should be a graduate of a professional academic nursing program, with a BSN or actively pursuing a BSN. Additionally, you must hold current RN registration or a limited permit to practice in the State of New York.
