About the RoleThis position will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for critically ill and injured patients
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on condition management and self-care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in emergency nursing
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
