PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicles, including light, medium, and heavy commercial trucks, vans, and forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair vehicle failures, including disassembling and reassembling parts as necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes and documentation of work completed
- Work with computer-based diagnostics and modern truck interfaces
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate records
- Answer road calls and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Permit or Class A CDL
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical movements, including bending, reaching, and climbing
- Basic computer skills, including email and web browsing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience working under limited supervision and performing work on your own
- Previous experience working outdoors and making road calls
- Previous experience maintaining manufacturing standards and working with electronics
- Previous experience driving trucks requiring a Class A or B CDL
