Facilities Maintenance Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role involves delivering exceptional cleaning and maintenance services across the Company premises under the guidance of Facilities management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains the building and surrounding areas, including meeting rooms, corridors, restrooms, and kitchen facilities.
  • Ensures all utility systems are operational and undergo regular inspections as per preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Identifies systems that do not meet the manufacturer's recommended standard operating procedures (SOPs) or are operating inefficiently, and suggests redesign or replacement as necessary.
  • Meets daily operational needs promptly, keeping communication open regarding any delays.
  • Provides assistance with office relocations as required.
  • Supports painting, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks as instructed.
  • Assists with general repairs throughout the facility.
  • Promotes and maintains safety and security standards.
  • Ensures cleanliness and upkeep of the building.
  • Responsible for understanding, adhering to, and enforcing SOPs, OSHA regulations, MSDS, and all other facility protocols and emergency procedures at all times.
  • Completes tasks within a standard workweek or with prior approval for overtime.
  • Handles other administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Conducts all duties in a professional manner, aligning with the Company's mission and objectives.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Education/Training: High school diploma or GED required.

Business Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in Facilities management, industrial cleaning, and related services is necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to perform calculations involving figures, discounts, and percentages.
Capable of reading and interpreting written information.
Adept at prioritizing and organizing work tasks.
Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and crouch as needed.
Proficient in using specific machinery to fulfill job duties.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
