* Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills to make informed security decisions regarding sensitive contracts and to establish robust security measures to safeguard company and government assets.
* Provide comprehensive guidance to employees and suggest necessary adjustments to operational policies and procedures.
* Manage daily security operations, including personnel processing, program evaluations, and document control systems.
* Conduct investigations into security violations and maintain detailed logs and records.
* Offer technical expertise across various security disciplines, including personnel, physical, and information security.
* Develop and distribute security protocols and training materials to ensure staff awareness and compliance.
* Coordinate the onboarding process for new personnel, including conducting necessary briefings and debriefings.
* Manage the issuance and maintenance of security badges in collaboration with relevant security centers and government entities.
* Stay informed about current security requirements through collaboration with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) officials.
* Maintain accurate records of security actions and monitor program compliance.
* Interpret and apply security policies related to classified material handling and dissemination.
* Provide regular updates and recommendations regarding security operations and training initiatives.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity in program operations.
* Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
* Experience in drafting and developing security documentation for proposals.

Qualifications
* A Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4-6 years of experience is required.
* In-depth knowledge of security protocols and the ability to manage complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external parties.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to interpret and apply security policies effectively in operational contexts.
* Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) management.
* Familiarity with government security databases and processes is essential.
* Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant security certifications (FSO, CPSO, CSSO) are advantageous.
* Experience with security management systems and incident reporting.
* Proven ability to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency plans.
* Membership in professional security organizations is a plus.
