About the Role

MUVIQ is seeking a highly skilled Epicor ERP Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the implementation, support, and enhancement of our Epicor ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Administration: Manage the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Epicor CMS platform, ensuring its reliability, availability, and scalability.
  2. Technical Strategy: Contribute to the overall ERP strategy and potentially support in the global roll-out of Epicor CMS to new countries and plants.
  3. Business Process Integration: Understand business requirements and business processes and how these are integrated into an ERP system.
  4. Platform Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot the Epicor CMS platform, resolving issues and implementing preventive measures.
  5. Customization and Integration: Develop and implement light customizations, integrations, and extensions to the Epicor CMS platform, using RPG IV, SQL, and other technologies.
  6. Third-Party Coordination: Coordinate with third-party system integrators for larger enhancements and projects, ensuring alignment of scope, budget, and timeline.
  7. User Management: Manage user and group accounts, permissions, and access rights for the Epicor CMS platform.
  8. Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders of the Epicor CMS platform.
  9. Best Practices: Collaborate with internal and external teams to define and implement best practices, standards, and policies for the Epicor CMS platform.
  10. Platform Updates: Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and patches for the Epicor CMS platform, evaluating and implementing them as needed.
  11. Documentation: Document and maintain the Epicor CMS platform architecture, design, and configuration.
  12. Data Governance: Implement and ensure a strong data governance across all countries and plants.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's or master's degree (or comparable qualification) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience (5-10 years) in managing and supporting Epicor CMS platforms, or other Epicor products preferably deployed in the automotive or (discrete) manufacturing industry.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and skills in RPG IV programming, SQL, and Epicor CMS APIs.
  4. Customization and Integration: Experience in developing and implementing customizations, integrations, and extensions for Epicor CMS platforms.
  5. Interface Management: Experience in implementing and maintaining interfaces between Epicor CMS and 3rd parties.
  6. User and Group Management: Experience in user and group management, security configuration, and access control for Epicor CMS platforms.
  7. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  8. Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and vendors.
  9. Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  10. Language: Fluent English is a must.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Certification or Training: Certification or training in Epicor CMS or related technologies.
  2. IBM iSeries Knowledge: Basic understanding of IBM iSeries and impacts to the application layer.
  3. ERP Systems Knowledge: Knowledge or hands-on experience with other ERP systems or tools.
  4. Agile Methodologies: Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools.
