Job Title:
Intermediate-Level Cable Technician

  • We are seeking a skilled Intermediate-Level Cable Technician to support our data center operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in copper and fiber optic cabling installation and termination.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing copper and fiber optic cabling throughout the data center.
  • Maintaining and organizing cabling pathways, ensuring proper labeling and documentation, is also a key responsibility.
  • The selected candidate will assist with the physical setup and tear-down of data center infrastructure.
  • Regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance to uphold data center standards are also required.
  • The candidate will operate tools and equipment required for cabling and infrastructure tasks.
  • Intermediate experience in copper and fiber optic cabling installation and termination is essential.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling standards and best practices is also required.
  • Proficiency in using cable testing and certification tools is necessary.
  • Certification in OSHA 10 or equivalent safety training is preferred.


Requirements:
  • Experience working in data center environments.
  • Knowledge of cable management systems and tools.
  • Basic understanding of network equipment installation.
