We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Value Apothecaries Inc. As a key member of our ambulatory pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient information, including clinical and prescription plan coverage details.
- Review new prescriptions and existing prescription plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, as well as monitoring inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with patients, insurance providers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless care.
- Participate in achieving business goals and metrics for the Ambulatory Pharmacy.
- Perform related duties as assigned, including data entry, reporting, and quality assurance.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of two years of experience in ambulatory pharmacy settings. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
