Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, imaginative, and caring individual to join our vibrant community as a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant). This role is essential in supporting the Resident Lifestyle Director in crafting, initiating, and managing a diverse array of enriching activities tailored for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster connections with residents through one-on-one interactions and group activities.
- Lead or assist in a variety of social, educational, and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Organize and facilitate games, discussions, exercise sessions, artistic endeavors, excursions, and special events.
- Assist in the production of the monthly newsletter.
- Encourage resident involvement in activities and document participation outcomes as needed.
- Support the Resident Lifestyle Director with various tasks.

Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a passion for working with people.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with patience and empathy for our residents.
- Preferred experience of at least 6 months in a similar role, particularly with seniors and life-enrichment activities.
- Experience in memory care is advantageous.
- Able to work independently while adhering to scheduled plans.
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations, treating residents with dignity and respect.
- Previous experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Living is a plus.
- A valid state driver's license is required.
